58 peaks in 24 hours (detail)

I completed the Bob Graham 42 peaks round in 1976 in a time of 21 hours 20 minutes. Fourteen years later in 1990, when I was the same age as Bob Graham when he did his legendary round, I completed a round of 58 peaks in 23 hours 42 minutes.

My typographic interpretation of the round, arranging the peaks in chronological order, vertically, creates its own mountain range. I have it on the wall above my bed. My version of counting sheep!
