Blencathra

A mountain of contrasts. The southern front with the village of Threlkeld at its base, is made up of five buttresses each named as a separate fell and rising steeply to the summit ridge. The northern flanks in contrast are smooth and rounded. The kennels of the Blencathra Foxhounds are situated at the base of Hall’s Fell ridge.

I was intrigued how the typographic interpretation reflected the shape of the mountain.
