Catbells

A children’s mountain. For my two daughters, this enticing hill was their first introduction to fell walking. The home of Beatrix Potter’s ‘Mrs Tiggy-Winkle’. The views of the Derwent and Newlands Valleys are spectacular.

One of the great joys in my life is to spend time in the hills with my family. After forty years or more to repeat the search for Mrs Tiggy-Winkle with my grandchildren is a pleasure I cherish.
