Friar's Crag, Derwentwater

An outcrop of rock at the northern end of Derwentwater. Cared for by the National Trust, it has been a tourist attraction for centuries. The view up the lake to the ‘Jaws of Borrowdale’ is awe-inspiring. It is a very special place. The image is inspired by the view: the lake, the islands, the mountains and a thousand memories. Borrowdale is Keswick’s gateway to the hills.
