Homage to the Blue Box

The Century Theatre or the Blue Box as the Theatre by the Lake was originally known, consisted of an amalgamation of blue caravans. Each summer the caravans would arrive and park in Heads Lane, opposite my home in Keswick. As a young man it was my first introduction to live theatre. I have supported it every season since.
