Jackdaw Tree

In the middle of the central car park in Keswick is a large beech tree which is the roost for 200 or more Jackdaws. It is close to my home in Keswick. Just before dusk you start to hear the cacophony, as they gather above the house, before alighting in the tree for the night. A number of them spend part of their day in the garden looking for grubs in the lawn, creating quite a mess, I like watching them, but my neighbour Marjorie is not so keen.
