Saint Sunday Crag

I look at it often from Fairfield. It is not quite close enough to be a Bob Graham contender. Still, the name alone draws you to it. I have visited a few times. The last time was picking up Wainwrights. Starting in Patterdale, taking in Arnison Crag, Birks, Saint Sunday Crag and Seat Sandal, finishing at Dunmail Raise.

On that occasion Saint Sunday Crag was climbed by the north-east ridge. For Seat Sandal you go down the south-west ridge. Due east is Gavel Pike and a descent to Deepdale.
