Skiddaw

A view of Skiddaw in February from my front window. Cloud down to about 2000 feet, which stayed all day. A band of heather and the green of the intake fields completes the image. I was browsing a book on Mark Rothko paintings at the time, which may have had some influence on the final outcome. It has taken me thirty odd years to come up with the concept.
