Skiddaw’s outlines are smooth and its curves are graceful. On a bright autumn day when covered in heather, they are a sight to behold. To look at the heather relatively close-up, it is probably best seen from the tourist path ascending Skiddaw, on the flanks of Lonscale Fell.
