The Langdale Pikes

The image is an homage to Kasimir Malevich, in particular his ‘Black Square’, circa 1923 painting, which is one of my favourite images.

The distinctive dome topped Pike o’ Stickle and the square flat-topped Harrison Stickle were the perfect subject matter once I had made the visual connection.
