Thirlmere Reflections

On a still morning, you cannot fail to be impressed by a mirror image of the landscape reflected in a lake. A memorable reflection for me is Thirlmere, in full autumn colour, as viewed from the path above Wythburn Church, on the way up Helvellyn. This route up Helvellyn always brings back memories of the Four Peaks Mountain Marathon, a different kind of reflection.
